How a Backyard Garden Inspired a Whole Merch Brand

OnlyJams started in the dirt. Literally. Every year, I grow vegetables in a backyard patch my kids call Dad’s Farm — a small but mighty garden where my family and I raise food we actually eat. It’s a personal joy, a family tradition, and one of my favorite ways to stay grounded.

This year, the strawberries went wild.

I found myself preserving more than usual — freezing, canning, and yes, jamming. I’d fill jars with fresh strawberry jam, slap on a handwritten label, and stash them for breakfast spreads, family gifts, and the occasional "Dad made this" flex. But thanks to Virginia’s cottage laws, I can’t sell those jars online.

So I thought, why not sell the vibe instead?

That’s where OnlyJams was born.
